Our After School Program is designed to provide a safe and educational environment for your child after school. Children are be picked up from their elementary school brought back to Home Sweet Home. There the children are given a snack and the opportunity to get started and help with homework. Your child will be occupied with activities until parents are home from work. Our After School Program also includes half day pick up, delayed school openings and emergency pick up. Parents can feel comfortable that Home Sweet Home is a full service child care provider.
Home Sweet Home provides many accommodations for our clients. We offer the longest operating hours in the area, Monday through Friday 6:30am to 7:00pm. We are only closed nine days a year and do not follow a grammar school calendar, catering to the working parents. We offer flexible schedules and provide after school and holiday care for older siblings. Our program is year round, endowed with a summer fun calendar.
Home Sweet Home provides all the meals for your child during the day. Breakfast is served between 8:00am and 8:30am. A nutritional hot lunch is served at 11:30 and a healthy snack is served at 3:30. All backed by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture Child and Adult Food Program. Transportation is also available to and from homes, work and the local grammar schools.

If any of these holidays fall on a weekend, the Center will be closed on the Friday before or the Monday after depending on which weekend day the holiday falls on.
Home Sweet Home Child Care Center reserves the right to close, as the Director feels necessary, due to hazardous weather conditions. During any storms, please call the Center before you attempt to travel in. If there is no answer by 6:45am or after that time, the Center will be closed for that day and will reopen the next day weather permitting.
